We are a Suzhou-based speech assessment technology company dedicated to providing the world's leading deep learning-based pronunciation assessment APIs for language learning products and services. With a six-year track record of excellence and a team of over 50 employees, our business has established a dominant presence in the EdTech sector within China.

In addition, we have recently launched SpeechSuper, our overseas initiative to expand our innovative technology and services to the global market. Our mission is to empower language learners worldwide with advanced speech assessment solutions that enhance their proficiency and fluency.

Team Leads

Xiaofei Yang

CTO, Founder

Xiaofei is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the speech assessment industry. He has previously served as the Tech Lead for the speech assessment team at Liulishuo, a renowned App that specializes in intelligent speech assessment, and boasts a user base of over 200 million by 2023. Xiaofei holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Science and Technology of China. In his leisure time, he likes to watch movies and TV series, particularly, Breaking Bad.

Yun Du

Senior Speech Engineer

Yun has 5 years of experience in developing and optimizing algorithms for speech assessment in Chinese, as well as developing a series of speech assessment systems for other minor languages. He graduated from University College Cork in Ireland with a postgraduate degree in Computer Science and Technology. In his free time, he enjoys watching English football matches and the NBA.

Qiusi Dong

Product Manager

Qiusi is a product manager with 5 years of experience applying speech and NLP technologies in language learning. She has developed practical tools for English learners, including an IELTS writing practice platform for IETLS candidates, an English speaking practice app, and a dictionary pen for K12 students. Qiusi has a Master's in Speech and Language Processing from the University of Edinburgh. Her latest endeavor is SpeechSuper. In her free time, she enjoys running, swimming, and reading.

Ying Jin

Data Team Lead

Ying is an experienced Data Team Lead who manages a team of four individuals. Her team is responsible for processing user audio data and providing accurate annotations based on specific requirements. Ying’s analysis of non-native speakers' pronunciation at the phoneme level helps the research department improve their scoring accuracy. When she's not working, Ying enjoys traveling and reading.
